This unique hand crochet purse, with its special story of origin, encouraged us to create it with style.

Inspired by the "Regency Era" look for our design, this is the kind of purse the ladies of the time carried while on a promenade (walk) through the park, in their finery. This elegant piece of crochet art with its smooth high quality brass bangle, would look impressive dangling on your wrist, while you walk around with your glass of champagne. Meanwhile, the crochet of the beads has been done using a strong quality thread to create an incredibly sturdy, stretchy and versatile purse. It is much stronger than its delicate look lets on (much like most of us). ;)

Adapting our vintage design to the modern day, it is made to comfortably fit your mobile phone, compact, keys and lipstick! The timeless vintage look makes it a perfect addition to a wedding party ensemble, formal evening or just a night out.

The STORY about these bags, are their ethical origins. Our Nandeetas team teaches local, low income women how to crochet the beads into a panel, which we later stitch into handbags. This project helps these ladies gain some much needed financial independence.
